Emscote Infants School
IA Play recently completed an exciting project at Emscote Infant School, transforming their outdoor space into a vibrant, all-weather play area that has become a favourite among the children. The school sought to enhance its outdoor facilities to promote physical activity and provide a safe environment for play throughout the year. IA Play was commissioned to design and install a comprehensive play area that would meet these objectives.
Installation Details
Trim Trail 3: The centrepiece of the new play area is the “Timber Trail 3” trim trail. This 20-meter-long structure offers a variety of challenges that help develop balance, coordination, and physical strength. The layout is customizable, allowing it to fit seamlessly into the available space. For added durability, the option to include steel feet is available.
Rubber Mulch Surfacing: To ensure safety and usability in all weather conditions, the trim trail was installed over a rubber mulch surface. Made from recycled rubber chippings, this eco-friendly surfacing provides excellent shock absorption, reducing the risk of injuries from falls. It is also durable, low-maintenance, and resistant to weather changes, making it an ideal choice for school playgrounds.
